Hi! I’m Craig McMichael. In 2004 I graduated from Onsted High School. In 2015 I became the Associate Pastor at Gateway Church. Since then I have served as the Youth Pastor and Children’s Ministry Director. In April 2024, I accepted the call to be Gateway’s lead pastor.

I have been married to my wonderful wife Leeann for 15 years and have two kids who attend Onsted Schools. They are Oliver (12) and Vivian (5).

I love to preach and teach the power of God’s word. My desire for everyone that attends Gateway is to guide them into a relationship with Jesus Christ and help them live out their faith as they engage with their community and the world.

 

Some things I enjoy doing are hunting, fishing, cooking, playing piano, and playing drums for one of our praise teams. 

Jared Hickman serves as the Youth Pastor, with a deep passion to see the next generation encounter Jesus and grow into lifelong followers of Him. He believes God has uniquely called him to speak into the lives of students with truth, grace, and hope, while walking alongside families in the journey of faith.

 

Jared is married to his wife, Sarah, and together they love raising their daughter, Iris. When he’s not with students, you’ll likely find him hunting, fishing, playing guitar, or cheering on the Detroit Lions.
