Hi! I’m Craig McMichael. In 2004 I graduated from Onsted High School. In 2015 I became the Associate Pastor at Gateway Church. Since then I have served as the Youth Pastor and Children’s Ministry Director. In April 2024, I accepted the call to be Gateway’s lead pastor.

I have been married to my wonderful wife Leeann for 15 years and have two kids who attend Onsted Schools. They are Oliver (12) and Vivian (5).

I love to preach and teach the power of God’s word. My desire for everyone that attends Gateway is to guide them into a relationship with Jesus Christ and help them live out their faith as they engage with their community and the world.

Some things I enjoy doing are hunting, fishing, cooking, playing piano, and playing drums for one of our praise teams. 

Tom has been a pastor at Gateway for over 20 years. He started in May of 1995 as the Associate Pastor of Youth and Outreach and was the Lead Pastor from 2000-2024, before stepping back to enjoy semi-retired life.  After Community College he attended Grand Rapids School of the Bible & Music. He has served in missions and as a pastor in two other churches. He and his wife, Gloria, have been married 40 years. They enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
