SPIRITUAL FORMATION
Christian spiritual formation is the process of being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ for the glory of God and for the sake of others (II Corinthians 3:17-18). The focus of spiritual formation is the Holy Spirit,
who guides the ongoing journey towards union with God.

Prayer Place
1. Kay Rinehart- Kay has been moved to another care facility. Continue to pray that she can go back to eating more normal and for strength and persistence as she is going through therapy.
2. Sally Meads- Early Monday morning Sally went to the hospital for a serious bowel obstruction. As of now she is in a normal room at Promedica Hospital in Adrian and no longer in the CCU. She is in room 207 if you'd like to visit her. She will have to go to a rehab facility for awhile before she can go home.
3. Jaclyn Flail- Jaclyn is the daughter of Doug and Sherry Maw. Back around April she was diagnosed with breast cancer. In short, all has been going really well. Jaclyn has had more energy and has felt better than she has in two years! However, her liver enzymes weren't reading as close to normal as the doctors would like. Pray that the doctors can figure out how to make the proper adjustments to the medication.
4. Steve Swope- Steve and Becky Swope are missionaries that we have supported for many years as a church. Please lift Steve up in your prayers as his Parkinson's is causing more arthritis problems. He has been getting injections in his knees which help for about 3 months but then needs to get them again. He has been walking with a cane since the beginning of summer. Also, be praying that they can get his mom moved into a care facility near them, she is 91. Becky is also taking care of her dad so pray for her in this as well. Steve has been navigating through a very difficult season of life and so please encourage him an any way that you can. If your reading this Steve just know that we love you and Becky and are here for you!
5. Glenn Cattell (and family) and Susanne Imus- Glenn and Susanne are related (BTW)! Their cousin Patrick died in a motorcycle accident earlier in the week. Pray for Doreen (Patrick's wife) as they are mourning.
6. Ray Davis- Another longtime Missionary! Jill (Ray's Wife) informed the church this afternoon that Rayfound out (while playing pickleball) that thwo valves were blocked 95% and 99%! First thing Thursday morning Ray was given a double-bypass operation. All went well and the surgeon told him that he has a "strong heart." Today he has begun physiotherapy and if all goes well, the doctor hopes that he will be released to come home on Monday, beginning a 12-week recovery which will lime his activity.
Please continue in your prayers for Sue and Phil Knerr, for Sarah Hickman, Gloria Lowe, Paul Messer, and for Lonnie Leach!
